Merry (almost) Christmas! Hopefully you all are finding peace and happiness during this hectic season. When I read that Claire from fashionbombdaily.com was hosting a Cocktails with Claire event, I was quite excited. I had my multicolored maxi dress all picked out and ready to go....until she revealed it was a Winter White theme. In comes the slight panic; I don't really wear white, not to mention finding white/winter white in a plus size at close to the last minute is no easy task. The dress is a size Large and while the fit was fine, the split was way too high, so I had to improvise. I have always loved a challenge, so I began my internet hunting and voila! This is what I came up with. How did I do? I had a great time getting dressed up, mainly because it's about a 99.8% guarantee that I will spend my New Years Eve with some yummy Thai food and couch surfing.
