Skinful

On days 2, 3 and 4 of FFFWeek events, I decided that the good folks of NYC needed to see a bit of belly and who else better to show them??? Before we get into the looks, I wanted to share what an amazing time this week has been. I've met some of coolest, down to earth, sweetest bloggers, networked with a few great brands and enjoyed this beautiful city. This trip was the complete opposite of my ear infection/popped eye blood vessel/fever-having fiasco of last year. To me, the absolute best aspect of FFFWeek is meeting fellow bloggers. You read each others blogs on a daily/weekly/monthly basis, interact on constantly on social network sites and exchange ideas/thoughts via email...then you finally get to meet them in person. It's very cool and even better when they are just as sweet in person. If you've never been to FFFWeek, come for nothing else but the meet and greets/networking. I promise that you won't be disappointed.

One more thing and I'll shut up: Ladies, do not be afraid to show a bit of skin! It's all about what you're comfortable showing, whether it's your arms, chest, midsection or legs. Stepping outside of your box can be liberating and exciting and who wouldn't want that? Not ready for a bandeau? Try a sleeveless shirt. Afraid of a mini? Go knee length with a blazer with the sleeves scrunched. You get the idea, now get those creative juices flowing. It's summertime; when else is a more perfect time to go beyond what you normally do? I get emails/comments about having confidence to dress how I do and the only thing I can honestly tell you is to WEAR WHAT YOU LOVE. It's that simple. Everything else will fall in place. It also helps that the only opinion that matters is mine :-)

Now on to the outfits....

Outfit #1: Scarf tied as top-Zara (last year), Pants: Urban Outfitters (purchased on Tuesday), Heels: Truth or Dare, Macy's.

Outfit #2: I've worn this before and loved it, so why not give it another go with a crop top instead? Suit: Kardashian Kollection for Sears (last year), scarf tied as top: Lane Bryant, Heels: Tory Burch

Outfit #3: Same scarf as above, skirt is by Jibri (very old; she no longer offers this pattern but has a ton of other amazing products, including this silhouette with different patterns) Heels: Chinese Laundry.

Alright y'all, that's it for now. I'm here for a few more days, so please check out my IG for more pics that won't make it here. Happy Saturday everyone!
