Good/Bad/Ugly

The Good: My outift. Love this dress and the suede booties. Also, my friend Lauren (http://kurvayshusb.onsugar.com/) came to visit. She's crazy in an awesome way, so we're a good fit. Pics from our adventures coming soon.
The Bad: A one time favorite party (Afex; dj's only play hip hop from 1979-1999. VERY good times; however they have changed locations and it's no longer the same. The crowd and the vibe suck and my heart is heavy)
The Ugly: Being out on Hollywood Blvd. the weekend of Halloween is NOT pretty.

I purchased this dress from H&M the other year and never wore it. Somehow, someway, it found it's way to the front of my closet. I found these booties at Marshall's...and I love them. Pretty comfy and the perfect chocolate brown. (Pics were taken at the Love Your Body Day launch party at Lane Bryant; good times)

Fall or Fail???

Hey y'all! In my previous post, I stated that I am determined to do better with my fall wardrobe. I was able to test an outfit today in beautiful San Diego. The weather was beyond gorgeous; I love the 2-3 days following a big storm. I was able to see the fabulous Keena Buttah and had a great day. My blouse is from Mode Plus, jeans from F21, boots from WideWidths.com and accessories are thrifted/flea market finds.

Fall is here and I'm not as excited as everyone else seems to be. I love summer; the long days and warm nights, the fact that I can just throw on a dress and some platform sandals and go, the non-layering...etc, etc, etc. I have decided that this will be the year that I get my fall wardrobe together and pretend I'm as enthusiastic as I am about the summer. Wish me luck...

I LOVE JUMPSUITS! Jumpsuits and I have a love/hate relationship (love from me, hate from them). Jumpsuits can be extremely difficult when it comes to the correct fit, so when I find one that fits well, I'm all over it. I purchased this piece from Rachel Pally about a year and half ago. This jumpsuit is super comfy; it honestly feels like I'm wearing pajamas. I wore this in NYC last year and a random toddler came up to me and started rubbing my leg; even she understood the power of comfort LOL.
